Improv At Work provides corporate improvisation workshops crafted to impart improvisational, communication, teamwork, active listening and creative thinking skills to your employees. Our workshops offer significant advantages for both personal and team development.
Additionally, they nurture individual confidence and well-being, foster creative thinking and provide staff with tools to deal with unexpected challenges. Our sessions seamlessly merge learning with enjoyment, equipping participants with practical skills relevant to both their work and home life.
Our workshop sessions can be booked for 1 or 2 hours at your workplace, we come to you! They can also be integrated into a PD day stand with multiple sessions throughout the day.
For groups larger than 20 participants we can bring in more facilitators to assist with the workshop, ensuring active engagement for all attendees.
Our interactive workshops are inclusive and can accommodate individuals with disabilities or limited physical or mental capacity.
They are suitable to all ages, genders and diversities as our workshops focus on inclusive learning in a non-judgemental environment.
Hello I'm Kieren, an actor and film maker who integrates my years of acting experience with my military background to deliver workshops that provide acting and improvisational skills to staff members.
After a 16 year career in military I turned to an acting career and immediately discovered the benefits that arts can provide. I was happier, more confident, better at creative thinking, less stressed, a better communicator and listener. It changed my life.
My goal is to pass on the valuable skills that the performing arts have given me to workplace environments in a unique, fun and exciting way.
The workshops I have created also incorporate team based challenges to develop team bonding and collaboration, something I bring from my military experience as a leader and team manager.

The University of Melbourne reported an increase in job satisfaction and workplace relations among employees who participated in creative thinking activities. Employees feel more fulfilled and valued when their creative input is encouraged and utilised, as well as more motivated to build relationships with their co-workers.
"Working with Improv At Work was unloading all of my concerns as they had everything ready to go.
Kieren's Communication and Leadership workshop through improvisation & acting techniques was fun and full of learning for my LINKED-IN staff. Kieren showed punctuality and collaboration with the set up. Moreover those qualities, one thing I appreciated a lot was THE PASSION for what he does. Which is something you do not find out there any more and we consider that without passion it is a bit hard to convey the message!"
